How to use and implement QR-code stickers under clear coating
Manufacturing/Production
As a bicycle brand, you have the option to request a specific quantity of serial numbers or QR codes for a particular production batch. Upon your request, you will be provided with a comprehensive list containing both the serial numbers and their corresponding URLs, which will serve as the basis for generating the artwork required for your stickers.
Crucial Information:
It is essential to note that each QR code will be directly linked to a URL associated with the respective BF (Bike Folder) number. For instance, if the BF code is BF123456, the QR code will be linked to the URL: www.bikefolder.com/QR/BF123456.
This linkage ensures a seamless connection between the physical product and its online representation.
Design info
Printing:
The factory will utilize their standard decal printer to ensure the decals meet the required quality standards for seamless integration into their painting process.
Sticker Size: Each sticker measures 20x40mm in dimensions.
Color Options: The design team has the creative liberty to select the colors for both the BikeFolder logo and the BF number, allowing them to harmonize with the overall bicycle design. It's worth noting that the background of the sticker (20x40mm square) is transparent.
Crucial Details:
- The QR code must be printed in BLACK.
- The square area behind the QR code should be in WHITE.
Font Choice:
The BF number should be presented in the ARIAL font.
Font Size:
The optimal font size for the BF number is 11pt.

Placement
Sticker can be placed one of two places on the frame. It is important to follow these directions due to accessability for scanner and phones.
A) On seat tube - Close to bottom bracket shell. Pointing forward
B) Top of downtube. Close to bottom bracket shell. Pointing upwards

Create virtual bike cards
When bicycle assembly is finished, the complete production information can be sent to BikeFolder for creations of virtual bike cards.

- Frame number
- Frame size
- Color
- Model year
- Brand
- Model name
- BF number
If available please include:
- EAN/UPS code
- Model number
- Image URL
- Battery number
- Battery key number
- Bike lock number
(More data will increase the quality of the bike card)
